Eat: PetalBelle 158 Sullivan St, between Houston and Prince; 212.677.1580 From the family behind Lombardi's, this well-lit, vintage French-wallpapered sleeve curates foodstuffs from local faves (fruit danishes from Balthazar, bread from Sullivan Street Bakery), but specializes in homemade "lieges": traditional Belgian waffles baked with yeast-leavened flour and a wide-grain Scandinavian sweetener some call "pearl sugar", and others "Nütra Sweet".
