The 16 Best Happy Hours in Phoenix

Happy hour -- it’s what separates us from the animals. But not all happy hours are created equal, and in Phoenix especially, there’s a lot of competition when it comes to boozy deal time. Here are the very best in town.

St Francis

Central Phoenix
When to get it: Mon-Fri, 3-6pm
The deal: Cocktails, including the handcrafted specialty ones, are all $5. Bottles and cans of beer and wines by the glass are all half off. Draft beers go for $4, but cans and bottles average around $2. You can also get appetizers, like the baked goat cheese ($6) and tomato soup ($6) at a discounted price.

Postino WineCafe

Arcadia, Central Phoenix, Gilbert, Tempe
When to get it: Mon-Tues, 8pm - close
The deal: While not your typical happy hour, Postinos is highly regarded for its bruschetta and wine deal – where you can get a house bottle of wine and one of their famous bruschettas for $20. 

Crudo

Phoenix
When to get it: Tues-Sat, 5-7pm
The deal: Sit at the bar and you can look forward to a newly improved happy hour that offers various $3 beers, $5 wines and $7 craft cocktails.

Last Drop at the Hermosa

Scottsdale
When to get it: Daily, 4-7pm
The deal: The great thing about these specials is they change daily -- on Mondays look forward to specially priced mixed drinks ($8-$10), on Tuesdays specialty sliders ($3) and local beers ($5), Wednesdays half-priced wines by the glass, Thursdays featured tacos ($3), and Fridays a signature burger and local draft ($16). Every day of the week local drafts, well drinks, and happy hour glasses of wine are $6.

Salty Senorita AZ

Scottsdale, Peoria
When to get it: Daily, 3-7pm
The deal: Sangria for $5, house margaritas for $4, well drinks, wine and Pacifico drafts for $3, and domestic bottles for $2. You can also score plenty of food including the tacos mariscos ($3 each) or a carnitas flatbread ($8).

The deal: Wine by the glass and cocktails are both available for only $5. You also have your choice of soups and salads for $6. Lastly, don’t forget the list of happy hour appetizers, which include pork wings ($8) and fresh guac ($7).

Salut Kitchen Bar

Tempe
When to get it: Daily, 3-6:30pm
The deal: With the purchase of one bottle of wine you can get another for free. House wines by the glass are $5, well drinks are $3.50 and most draft beers are $4. If you’re really looking for a buzz, try a $5 vodka Red Bull. You can also try the Salut fries ($4), hummus nachos ($6), or the prosciutto wrapped melon ($5).

1130 The Restaurant

Downtown Phoenix
When to get it: Daily, 4-7pm
The deal: Appetizers start at only $3.95, specialty drinks are $3 off, domestic drafts start at $2, and house wines are $3.95. Stop by on “Wine Down Wednesday,” and you can get any bottle of wine for 50% off.

La Bocca Urban Pizzeria + Wine Bar

Tempe
When to get it: Daily, 3-6:30pm
The deal: Every day you can look forward to $5 off all wines priced at $11 and higher, $2 off all draft beers, $1 off all bottled beers, and $2 off single mixer cocktails. On Sundays, from 6:30pm to close, it's buy one item get one item free with the purchase of wine bottle.

Tavern Grille

Scottsdale
When to get it: Daily, 3-7pm
The deal: You can get domestic beer longnecks ($3), drafts ($2.75), small pitchers ($4.50), and large pitchers ($9). For premium beers it’s the same lineup, with longnecks ($4), drafts ($3.75), small pitchers ($6.50), and large pitchers ($12). All well drinks are $3.50, and wine by the glass is $1 off usual prices. Carly's Bistro

Downtown Phoenix
When to get it: Daily, 4-7pm
The deal: $1 off draft beers and wines by the glass, $3.50 for well drinks and half off a selection of appetizers.

Culinary Dropout

Tempe, Old Town Scottsdale, Central Phoenix
When to get it: Mon-Fri, 3-6pm
The deal: Sangria for $3, select wines for $5, well cocktails for $4, and beers for $3. We also advise trying out the “Double Blind” ($5) and Jarrito’s Mexican Shandies ($4). In case you’re hungry, you can also get quite a few of the menu’s light snacks and appetizers at a steeply discounted rate, like the beloved pretzels and fondue ($6) or the hummus ($5).

Taco Guild

Central Phoenix
When to get it: Mon-Fri, 4-7pm, Sat 11am-6pm, Sun 2pm-close, and late night 10pm-close 
The deal: Try out the classic 1983 margarita for $5, or a draft beer or a glass of wine for the same price. “The Socializer” (a draft beer with a shot of Cabrito Reposado) is only $6. From 3-7pm (or after 10pm), you can also get the daily taco for $1.99.

Olive & Ivy

Old Town Scottsdale
When to get it: Mon-Fri, 3-6pm
The deal: $3 bruschetta, $6 small plates (like the hummus or bacon-wrapped dates), and $9 flatbreads make this a perfect foodie happy hour destination. Featured wines by the glass, well cocktails, sangria, and local beers are also only $5.

The Vig

Arcadia, Scottsdale, Central Phoenix
When to get it: Mon-Fri, 3-6pm
The deal: Keep this in mind before you’re disappointed: the Filmore location does not offer happy hour, but fortunately the other three do. You’ll enjoy $2 off cocktails and wine, $1.50 off draft and premium beers, and $1 off domestic beers and well cocktails. There are also a variety of food options, like the hot wings or daily flatbread -- both $5. 

Dvine Bistro Mesa

Mesa
When to get it: Mon-Fri, 2-6pm, Sat, 11am-6pm
The deal: All well drinks are $1 off, and there are a ton of specialty cocktails, like the lavender berry martini, offered for $7. You can also get sangria for $5, wine for $5, and $1-$2 off all beers. Appetizers and starters like the kale strawberry salad ($5) and the mushroom tacos ($7) are also on special during the magical hours.
